Huh, I didn't know that. Also, I feel kind of bad for Piz, because from the trailer, it's obvious Veronica still has a thing for Logan and Piz is just someone she settled down for. And I really feel like Piz deserves better than that.

BTW it is never really explained but the idea is that her and Piz broke up for the four years that she went to Stanford and got back together after. So they haven't been together for the full nine years

It would be great if you reacted to the kickstarter video. It was also great how many people they brought back for this. They weren't able to get everybody back though the singer was Leighton Meester's character from the show, but they couldn't get her back so they recast for the role. I noticed that because i heard her character was going to be in the movie and i was a fan of Leighton's from Gossip Girl and now Single Parents so i was disappointed that they had to recast.

i was on a high for months when Word about the movie came out! Me and a group of friends decided not to watch it until we could watch it togheter (only one person could uphold that promise, the rest of us watched it Alone in secret). We saw it togheter and only ate food with VM initials and had a quiz and VM games! It was an amazing day!

Just jumping on what Mariella said, they filmed concept footage right after season three for what Veronica could be doing if they got a season four. This was years before the movie and way before the actual season four on Hulu. That was a great walk down memory lane. I was one of the backers, I got a DVD and a T-shirt. And when Rob came to the ATX fest, he saw me standing in line with my T-shirt, walked over to me, gave me a high five, and thanked me for supporting the film. So that was cool. (How I was the only person with a T-shirt there, I'll never know.)

Great reaction :). I didn’t start watching VM until 2015, so I missed out on the excitement of the Kickstarter, but it’s fun to go back and watch the videos and promotion they did for it. To clarify a few things you were asking in the video: - The end of S3 both was and wasn’t supposed to be the series finale. Rob Thomas was told a few episodes before the end that the show was being cancelled, and he was asked by the network to wrap it all up nicely and give it a good ending. He deliberately decided not to do that and instead left it on a cliffhanger in the hope of getting more someday - The ‘Season 4 trailer’ that people are mentioning in the comments is not for the new 2019 season 4, it’s actually a 12-minute ‘Season 4 Pilot’ that Rob made in 2007 and tried to pitch to the network when Season 3 was cancelled. It was a last-ditch attempt to keep the show going. - The movie was made in 2013, but it’s set 9 years after the end of Season 3, as that way they could show the Neptune High 10-year reunion and bring back all the old cast. So, the movie was released in 2014, but set in 2016. - Rob Thomas wrote and directed the movie

You should really react to the Kickstarter video that they put together to fund the movie. It’s very funny and doesn’t spoil anything. I’ll never forget the day that the Kickstarter launched. It was surreal to see the actors together again and the internet freaked out. One thing to keep in mind going into the movie, the movie was funded by the fans. So writer, Rob Thomas felt the responsibility to bring back as many actors from the show as possible even in cameo roles if possible just for the fans. So the movie is very much, “a love letter to the fans” as Rob Thomas put it. But for sure you should react to the Kickstarter video too. It’s fun.

I hope he reacts to the "series 4" Veronica Mars pilot, jumps into the future in her life. It was made for the network to try and get another series by refreshing everything but ultimately wasn't picked up. You can watch it on youtube and it is only 12m long, it could have been interesting although I am glad it ended up going the way it did instead years later with the movie.

They made it 9 years (since Veronica’s freshman year of college ended), so they could do a ten year high school reunion as a reason to bring everyone back to Neptune.

I would have killed to do that! 😫 I had to settle for donating $50 and watching it first on digital download. I probably would have embarrassed myself and passed from excitement out if I had gone to the NYC premiere and met the cast though.

I was totally losing my mind when i saw that trailer ! They needed $2 million to do the film and we donated $5,7 million ! Steven, you gotta get an "I am a marshmallow" t-shirt because you are totally one of us. they ran a kickstarter and raised millions to make the movie! I went to the premiere in NYC and met the cast. I cherish the memories I have from that day. So excited for this!

So OneHub's still wonky for me. I can download it just fine, but if I just want to stream, it sits there saying "Generating Preview" and won't load. That's only the case on some videos, though. It seems a bit hit-or-miss.
