This episode was obviously about women having sex "like men". The introduction to the series is not great like you said, it's not the best pilot and far from the best episode. There's lots of sex and humor and witty dialogue, but the main four women and their friendship are the heart of she show. I hope I don't sound too biased and I'll admit I do love the show, but I honestly believe that it would grow on you. They developed the characters well and the story too. I bet later you would love Miranda and Samantha especially.

2020-05-19 21:39:50 +0000 UTCThe voiceover and “talking to the viewer” are just a thing in the first few episodes, I think. This is actually one of my favourite shows, but I agree it begins a little weird, and I think I enjoyed the later seasons more than the earliest.
