I always thought of it as Deans hunger, or the thing that he wanted most was to not feel anything. He craved the feeling of numbness so much that thats what he got when Famine rolled into town.

If Famine doesn’t heighten Dean’s hunger, then he should have just been his regular self eating burgers and enjoying Unattached Drifter Christmas. 😂

Frankly, I’m surprised that the S&P folks allowed that first scene on the air. It was really so much the visuals that grossed me out, but rather the audio of ripping flesh and chewing. YUCK! Sam facing down Famine was cool as Hell, but the scene with him (Famine) telling Dean that the reason he wasn’t “hungry” for anything was because he was already dead inside was heartbreaking. The looks that the demons gave each other when Famine told Sam to kill them all was a subtle and funny bit I thought. Take care, see you next time. XXOO

I don't necessarily think that Anna has to be the "bad guy" though. The way she went about it wasn't the best, but in her way own way of thinking it was the right thing to do. She knows that Sam is Lucifer's vessel. She thinks that the Apocalypse can't happen if Sam is dead. So with that line of thinking, I mean she's technically correct. Honestly she would be saving the world, would she not?🤷🏾♀️ Unfortunately because Sam and Dean are the protagonist of the show anything that another character does against them, the audience/fandom views them as now a being "bad character" that is worthy of death (in some cases). For example Gordon (seasons 2&3 Sterling K. Brown). Nobody likes Gordon but when you think about it, he was right. Steven I was waiting until season 5 for you to see where Sam's storyline goes to bring this up, but technically Gordon was right he thought that Sam was the Antichrist and he would bring the end of the world. Besides some glaring details, like Sam not literally being the Antichrist, Gordon was pretty much on the nose with his theory. If he had killed Sam, he would have been correct in doing so. Now I love Sam😂 I'm a Sam girl. He's my favorite of the two brothers. I'm just saying that these characters do have a point🤷🏾♀️ Nobody come after me🤣. I'm just gonna say that I can see where Anna is coming from, but I also understand from Sam, Dean, and Cas's perspective why they had to kill her because Anna would just keep coming after Sam and they couldn't have that so she had to go. Her death makes sense to me. Anyway glad you liked the episode. See ya next time 🤗
