Deb put the picture there on purpose, she was trying to trick Laguerta into reopening the trinity case that Lundy was investigating and that Laguerta blocked. Deb said she was going to get Laguerta to reopen it last episode.

Dexter FEELING guilt, Trinity's backstory, Deb not shot by Trinity, Trinity trying to kill himself. These are pretty major events. Its about time to remind you that in 2 more episodes (about 3 weeks in real time) MCH finds out he has cancer, but in the next few episodes he is already sick. In some scenes he looks really sick, others not.
