Mappa animators were rushed to push out content for the anime but on the blu ray/dvd version they were able to properly animate certain scenes this fight being one of them. Itโs a 5 minute clip on YouTube.

Some fans say Uraume is a boy, others say itโs a girl. The conclusion is : we donโt know yet. Uraume has a really gender-neutral appearance. If Iโm not mistaken, Uraume is referred to as "they/them" in both English and Japanese so. I just wanted to let you guys know since you referred Uraume as "she/her" ๐

Sukuna exploits this aspect of Yuji's character to inflict even more suffering, especially because Sukuna wiped out all of the people in Shibuya just for his pleasure by using Yujiโs body.

Just want to spit it out if you don't know what shikigami is. Shikigami is a creature summoned by a spellcaster or sorcerer to perform tasks, but Mahoraga cannot be ordered due to its free will because of its power. The only way to control it is by conquering it, which is what Sukuna has done. Sukuna saves Megumi because the Ten Shadows Technique, tied to the Zen'in clan, canโt be used by anyone else. The ritual Sukuna mentioned to Uraume is not just about Megumiโs power; it has a wider purpose, but Sukuna's main focus is still on Megumiโs abilities.

This ritual works by choosing a target, and in this episode, the blond guy was the target. How the ritual works: โ First, the ritual doesnโt stop until the target is killed โ Second, Mahoraga has to fight the target until they die, and after that, the summoner (Megumi) will die too Thatโs why the blond guy panicked and wondered why Megumi included him in this, because Megumi had trapped him in a death ritual with an unstoppable monster. But then Sukuna stepped in. He didnโt want Megumi to die, since he has plans for him and wants to use him for his own goals. So Sukuna jumped in and saved Megumi by defeating Mahoraga himself.
