It’s time to vote for the February tutorial topic! ✨ There were SO many amazing suggestions, thank you to everyone who commented ideas! 🥰 I’ve put the most popular requests in this poll, but if you don’t see your suggestion, don’t worry — I always save them to use for future content :)

Here’s a little info about each option:

• Designing a Book Couple: This will be an in-depth video showing how I design book characters (specifically a book couple) based on book descriptions! I’ll show you the process I’ve been using for all my book commissions 📚

• Fantasy Armor: This video will be a detailed guide on how to draw fantasy armor! We’ll study light, medium and heavy armor styles with metal, leather, buckles, and more ⚔️

• Fan Art Tutorial: An updated video about how to create fan art! I’ll show you how I find references, how to choose colors, and how to infuse a story element into the artwork to create fan art that feels authentic and original 🔥

• Style Studies: This tutorial will focus on how to break down an art style and apply the different techniques and aesthetics into your own work! I’ll study a different style and show you guys how to interpret and recreate the style with your own flair ✏️

• Painting a Cinematic Scene: In this video we’ll be drawing a movie scene together to study capturing a cinematic look! There will be a focus on dramatic lighting, color themes, composition, emotion, and more 🎥

• Character Interactions (Romance Edition): I made a video about character interactions a while back, but this video will cover a new set of interactions — focusing on romance! Kissing, hugging, and more 💘

• How to Draw Dresses: This video will cover how to draw various styles of dresses! We’ll cover ruffles, ribbons, fabric textures and more 👗

• Simple Backgrounds: For this tutorial, I’ll show you some easy ways to create and improve simple backgrounds for your character drawings! ✨
