Hello October! 🍁 Monthly Newsletter + What to Expect This Month! 💌✨

Hello everyone & welcome to a brand new month! 😍

I’m currently sitting at my desk this morning as I write this and thinking of all the fun things I’ve got planned for this month! 🍂 October has always been such an exciting month because of all the art challenges and the creative energy in the art community, and I always feel so much more inspired to create during this time 🥰

As many of you know, this month I’ll be following my Bubbletober prompt list and creating art that’s inspired by a weekly theme!

And I’m soooo excited so many of you will be participating in the challenge too! I can’t wait to see your beautiful art!! 😍 I’ve already prepared my first drawing for this week’s theme, which is ghostly ✨ and I’ll be showing you guys a sneak-peek of it in today’s Feature Friday post! 💌

I’ve been writing down some ideas of things I want to draw for each theme, and I also created a mood board that captures some of the vibes and concepts that I want to draw! Here it is:

When I think of October I imagine a colorscape of vibrant orange and cold blue tones, so that’s something I want to capture in a few of my color schemes ☺️ I’ll be drawing a mix of spooky art and autumn art! All the happy seasonal vibes 🥰🥐☕️ I’ve attached this mood board at the bottom of this post if you’d like to save it and use it for your own inspiration! 💌

In other news, stay tuned for this month’s first process video going up tomorrow! ✨ It’s going to be a timelapse of my painting study and will be available for all Big-Hearted Butterfly patrons and Devoted Dragonfly patrons! 🥰
