Comments

Know it is a personal preference thing, but I'll always prefer XBC2 / BotW style of doing quests based on landmarks of locations in the world the NPCs point you towards that keep you engaged and paying attention versus just turning your brain off and following a quest marker like in the Remake. One of my friends told me he wasn't going to play Ghost of Tsushima even, because the wind just leading you to secrets would ruin any sense of exploration and discovery. All that said, they could definitely find better ways of letting players know the kinds of things monsters drop and where those monsters generally are for quests like the rebuilding of the Colony.

We talked about it on Frame Trap recently. - Damiani
