EZAnime - Episode 10 "Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team"

Any tips on where to find 08th ms in the uk. Cant seem to find a stream anywhere and the dvd's are really expensive, couldn't find the blu ray on amazon either.

If you're done with it, you're done with it, but I would consider giving the manga a shot. Pretty big step up.

I watched the Tokyo Ghoul anime as it aired on Toonami. I wish I never watched it period. Thank goodness Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans Season 2 is coming up this weekend to replace that trash.

Voting won't be coming back anytime soon. It's a choice we made to give us more time to prepare and in turn has made for better episodes. I can understand why that would be annoying, but it was a decision that we felt was right. Plus, the most popular option always got picked. Guys...... Ghost in the shell anime is goat, give it a shot! Thought provoking sci-fi, and adorable spider tanks!

War in the pocket, 8th MS team and the 3 Gundam movie trilogy are my favorite Gundam series. I don't think you can top that original civil war concept from the starting timeline. When the series can blend more grounded elements to these crazy mechs the more I enjoy the shows

1) That death stare that Ben gives Huber at 51:56 when he's not talking about Anime is pretty funny ^^ 2) This is the first Anime on EZAnime, that I didn't watch yet! But just like usual it's a delightful discussion :D 3) I know you get way too many Anime recommendations, but here are some that are very non-typical Anime (as in no highschool over the top action with fantasy/sci-fi themes ^^) and some of the best (they're all in the Anime Hall of Greats ^^): Mushishi (which ben mentioned before), Monster (which was in a poll before), Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu, Fune wo Amu. 4) Just thought Drifters (among others) would be the perfect Huber Anime! 5) And for anyone who reads this: Mahoujin Guru Guru (2017) looks like a kids Anime, but it's seriously great, if you like all kinds of humour. It's certainly one of my favourite Anime of 2017! L&R

I love the mech evolution in UC Gundam and how different design concepts get the closer you get to stuff like F91 and V Gundam.

Great episode. Love how mechanical everything feels in this show compared to other Gundams where they bend the laws of physics even more. 08th MS Team always makes me sad though because it reminds me of the needlessly dark and brutal ending in the novelization.

Also GM means Gundam Mass-production Type, basically the Gundam was the most cutting edge experimental weapon at it's creation, they created several of them (7 known for now I think) at first, but the wigs figured for a viable weapon of war they are simply to expansive to make for mass-production use for general warfare, so they downgraded the general design cutting corners to create the cheaper GMs for the balk of their army. The Gundam ground types 08 MS team used were not real Gundams, but actually more closer to modified GMs, their Gundam heads were actually more of a propaganda tactics (due to the fame of actual Gundams being devils on the battlefield) than actual proof of lineage, in spec they were just GMs specialized in ground warfare, nothing more than basic grunt units.

MS Igloo series is a more realistic and tragic look at soldiers from both sides during the Universal Century one year war, almost no ACEs and no looking at grand scheme, it is all about the little guys, my kind of tale, just like 08 MS Team but even more dark and gritty. The scale representation of mobile weapons compare to their human pilot is absolutely the best as of now, you really feel the giant in giant robot.

For real. Check out 0080. Only six episodes, all set in one colony. And it's got the MS-18E Kämpfer and it's pump-action shotgun.

I really wish you can make Huber a regular on EZAnime. He adds so much. Also Black Lagoon is the perfect Huber anime.

Wow... I love that you guys did this. I had thought I was the only person who saw and loved this Anime. Its truly one of my favorite war anime... never mind the giant robots. Have either of you guys or anyone in the comments seen Casshern Sins? Because I would love to hear anyone else's opinion on that gem of an anime...

It's a giant undertaking, but watching the entire Universal Century (up through Unicorn) is immensely rewarding as a Gundam fan.

Highly recommend 0083 and 0080 if you liked 08th MS Team. Similar setup, 11 and 6 episode OVA's which are side stories in the larger universe with that more grounded vibe. Plus, 0080 has a cool shotgun.
