Was going to write this as my correction

Now as a super fan I am both CRAZY EXCITED for this new game AND SUPER BUMMED OUT THAT IT IS VR. Exciting because it's Gungrave.. It looks great... There hasn't been Gungrave in a LONG time. Bummed out because it's VR (and I don't have it!),. I don't think VR is the best fit for this kind of game. Also Nightow may not be involved. The fact his name wasn't mentioned is a bad sign. Additionally it doesn't seem to include the other characters from Gungrave Overdose so .. that's a bit disappointing too.

Ok Allies. Here's a quick Gun Grave crash course from a SUPER FAN of those 2 games (and the anime). Gun Grave was 2 PS2 games And an Anime with limited (but crazy cool) merch. Most significant was that both PS2 games had character Designs by Nightow (of Trigun fame). The games were crazy simple and basic, but VERY arcadey and fun. When they came out they were trashed in the review magazines, but gained a cult following for how fun and stylish it was. The Anime is significantly different in tone from the games and serves as a prequel (with minimal overlap). It is largely serious and a quite a bit less over the top. Still great though! Worth a watch! Both PS2 Games (Gungrave and Gungrave Over Dose) are highly recommended for a good time. They'd make great stream games and I actually think several of the allies would LOVE IT.

However the panel is probably right, if the shoe was on the other foot, Xbox would be saying the exact same thing. Regardless, games are king and I wouldn't bank on Xbox getting any better about those in the next generation until actually show some evidence.

A certain magical index is very story heavy and BIG in japan.Have index 2 seasons with 2 seasons of spin-off and 1 movie and untill now have very big fanbase beg for season 3 of anime.with light-novel more than 50 Volumes now.

Correction/Freudian Slip: At 1:23:00 Kyle refers to having the EZA schedule on their website as a "PDA." PDA is most commonly used as an abbreviation for "Public Display of Affection" or, if this were somehow 2001, a "Personal Digital Assistant." There argument was that it was unclear, cause regular Ark, while it has guns and other weapons, it's not typically what people associate with it. The TGS trailer cut the gameplay from the ChinaJoy trailer, and for that, it was less clear what this was supposed to be. It is quite different from Ark, but this edited trailer did a poor job at communicating that info.

I think its 1 day because Jones commits to getting it to us by midnight on wednesday, usually its out earlier. Saying two days wouldn't technically be true if it comes out friday.

I don't know if you want to acknowledge this correction (who knows it may be the deciding factor), but $5 Patrons get the podcast 2 days early not 1 as was stated in this episode.

CORRECTION to Game Announcement: Ark Park was announced already back in 2016, and an almost identical trailer was shown off in July at China Joy. The trailer show at TGS was exactly the same, except it cut out some gameplay in an additional 13 seconds from 1:03 - 1:15 shown in the ChinaJoy reveal trailer. CORRECTION: Light novels are similar to the mass market novels in the U.S. (the ones that you see in grocery stores) that are published in volumes to tell continuing stories. They are often made for young adults, and the books often have illustrations . Most of the popular ones end up being adapted to manga or anime. Side note: I really miss playing Virtual On with the giant cabinet and the giant controller.

A certain magical index is actually a really great property, it's quite said it has become somewhat of joke this podcast. The accelerator/clones stuff in both Index and Railgun is something you hardly see in anime.

The Xbox isn't even a factor in Japan, Sony hopes to gain some momentum in Japan with Monster Hunter World. The PS4 still isn't selling that spectacular in that country.

Hey guys, just wanted to give some information, but a light novel in Japan is basically mostly a novel, however it does contain illustrations of certain key scenes, the characters, settings, etc. Not quite a a manga or comic panel, but like 1 page illustrations spread out through the book.

Iwata's passing still affects me so much and that detail of Nintendo has touched me deeply, thank you for such a charming conversation about it. ♥

I think Sony is shooting them self in the foot by saying no to crossplay. Next generation Xbox is sounding better because there is a better chance of getting crossplay for Xbox which means more people to play with.
