2017-07-18 14:53:16 +0000 UTCAbout the DS version, I want to point out that it does have analog controls, but only if you use the touch screen. I used the strap that was included with the console to play that game back in the day, and I enjoyed it immensely. I understand that it's not optimal and a lot of people might find it awkward to control and to hold the console that way, but it worked for me. The original version of Super Mario 64 on the other hand, I've bought twice and tried to get used to Mario's weird physics but I just can't. I think the 3D Mario with the best controls is Sunshine.

I don't feel you need to mention the whole name of the game in each instance, this was especially hard to listen to when you were describing your first experience with the Nintendo 64, playing Super Mario 64. I realize that both names have the word "64" in the title but, it does make listening difficult. The concept is good and the visuals and music was appropriate. You do have a good voice while hosting a podcast but you sound like you are narrating a children's book, not a personal essay. But what do I know, i don't have 6 thousand people financing me to talk about video games.

2017-07-17 16:52:09 +0000 UTCI don't really watch FC because I don't have enough history with Nintendo to really keep up with the general discussion around it, but this concept is immediately more appealing to me. Whenever you do a narrowly focused video like this one appears to be, I'll be sure to watch it every time.
