The EZA Intramural Tournament of June

None of the people who are going to be playing the games are FGC either. It is not like we'd see high level gameplay of Tekken or GG. People voted ARMS because it is wacky and more exciting to watch when the players and viewers both don't know anything about fighting games. Also calling it "disgusting" when people don't like the same thing as you just feeds into toxic FGC elitism. Conjecture about imaginary people and "REAL fighting games" also feed into that.

Ugh it is disgusting how the majority of these people who voted don't appreciate depth in fighting games. Watch a lot of casuals play Dragon Ball Fighters Z, get slaughtered online, and whine how the game sucks. I voted for Rev 2...one of the two REAL fighting games in the list.

I haven't played Arms but it seems like something anyone can pick up and play (and win), unlike the 2D fighters where Ben would likely reign supreme 😉

It just means the tournament only concerns the Allies as opposed to some large-scale, highly organized event.

Arms? Weird ok. Looks rather boring to me and hard to watch with split screen and over the shoulder camera, but ok, the people have spoken.

To be honest, I just voted Tekken 7 because I want to see Ben's hard work pay off.

Guilty Gear is unquestionably the best game out of the three, but Arms will make for the most entertaining stream. Tekken isn't all the interesting to watch or play if you're just mashing and while GG has Stylish mode, it's still pretty hard to follow as a spectator. The first time I played Guilty Gear it was with a group of friends who had all been playing fighting games for years and we were still getting lost in the madness onscreen.

I LOVE guilty gear but its a little too complex for the pick up and play nature of what these streams need. ARMS has the potential to be awesome
