Dont Skip - The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky

Although I don't want to spoil the video itself, just know that if you have a penchant for JRPGs, you should give Trails in the Sky a shot if you haven't already. Very excited to get around to SC and the 3rd when I can. Enjoy!

2017-08-13 16:31:05 +0000 UTCThe Trails games are easily my favorite JRPGs. They do world building better than any other game I've played and their minor NPCs have better character progression than other games' main cast.

Only the names and personalities of two characters that you'll immediately know anyway, and some of the places visited in the game. The rest is all about the game's qualities.

2017-08-13 05:41:44 +0000 UTCTrails in the Sky the Third has a 20 something Priest as the protagonist, Trails of Zero/Azure has a 18 year old Police Officer, or do you want even older ones? Anyway the story and world is very much adult centric, with the competence zone around 25 to elders, I think it is a very mature series as a whole, so if that is what you are looking for you will love the series for it. Trust me, it gets dark, very dark indeed...

2017-08-13 05:06:39 +0000 UTCI absolutely adore The Legend of Heroes Series, currently playing through Trails of Cold Steel 2. I love this series much more than Final Fantasy and even Persona, I believe the character development is second to none.

The games didn't make much of a spalsh when they first came out but their quality keeps getting spread around by word of mouth and now they're finally reaching a level of something resembling public awareness. Can't wait for Ben to play SC and hear his thoughts on it. Meanwhile I'm still dieing to know when CSIII will be localized.

2017-08-13 02:01:08 +0000 UTCSoon weird, I just started playing this game on Thursday! I picked it up after enjoying trails of cold steel 1 & 2. It is also a good entry point into the trails series if anyone thinks this sounds interesting but would like something a little more modern.
