Tabletop Escapades - Episode 68 "A Bloody Dwarf"

Comments

I can see where you're coming from even if I don't agree. But it's just the first episode so I hope you'll give her a chance.

Not a fan of Fame. Feels like a troll character just for the sake of doing a bit. Feel bad for Ben and all the hard work he puts into crafting this world. There's fun, cooky, and all-around entertaining characters and then there's this. I say this with as much L&R I can, which probably won't amount to much on the internet.

John Leitner

Fame could've avoided it if she used Dash. She just moved 25 feet and took no action so dashing was possible.

It seems odd that the mercenaries and Fame would just run directly over the dynamite, but ah well. There is a lot going on right now to keep track of. Fun episode guys! Anyone want to take an over under on Fame? I say less than 5 episodes

GW Fawkes

It's a pretty common side effect of theatre of the mind style of play that things get mixed up, and when you throw AoE into the mix it gets even worse since you need to remember roughly where everyone is in position to each other. Also it's a pretty common mistake to confuse radius and diameter when you haven't messed with AoE spells in a while. Combine that with TTE's "fast and loose" style and it makes sense. Worth mentioning that Geas has a 1-minute casting time as well, but seeing Pomper use it in the way he did made its application not a huge bother to me.

Great episode, really like Fame! And speaking of convenient apps, check out the Kobold Fight Club. It's a great tool for creating encounters. Slight spoiler: I was wondering if Ben could provide some clarification because the fireball scene was kind of hard to keep up with but it seemed like you made the fireball too small? Its size is a radius of 20 feet so it's 40 feet across I believe. It might just be me getting confused but it seemed like you treated it like it had a diameter of 20 feet.

So I've seen all reviews, Frame Traps, and Podcasts but this one I've yet to get in to, just began on episode one about 30 minutes ago. It's good so far, loved it when you all began explaining your characters.
