Cup of Jones - 03/21/17

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this question - Question - Brandon and/or Kyle - Any chance of discussing your time with Persona 5? alla "Pokemon show". Would love to hear the thoughts of 2 outsiders to this game (as I am also new to the series, and am hesitant too play it). I think it would be a great hearing you guys describe the systems, game mechanics and overall first impressions of the game. Hopefully, you both can dumb it down to noob level (i.e.. Help me understand the game - cause I'm a noob!)

I'm sure that I'm not the only person to ask this, but do you think there will ever be the possibility for a meet-up in/on/around the east coast?

Congrats EZA! I was at the live show and it was sooo much fun. I'm a very shy person (shocking I know) and I went by myself, but the EZA community is just so welcoming and lovely and I fit right in! I work for a donor-supported network and we just finished our pledge drive. I thought to myself "I need to support the creators I enjoy too!" So I just became a patron and I'm really glad I did. I can't contribute much (public radio isn't the most lucrative business right now. Hah), but I gotta give back somehow after all the hours of enjoyment you have given me from GT to EZA. ❤ L&R

Hey Brandon; I have a bit of an difficult comment/ advise but i think i should really vent this to you guys. I don't want to be a telltale or a negative nelly, but this concerns what i do in a day to day, this is stuff i know about :) I've noticed that some fans are creating fanart/and shirts using your logo(s). Now i've also noticed that some of the 9 retweet these things, so i'm guessing it's ok for you guys. I'm just hoping you guys realize this could create a couple of problems. A) it tarnished your brand, some of the artwork is great, but you lose all control over your brand recognition and what you put out there as EZA. B) some fans combine your logo with stuff they don't own the rights to, like Sonic or other video games properties, this could get the entire EZA brand in trouble. (the line between a parody, which is mostly ok to print, and a ripoff is very, very thin). Even if every cent of these fans sales goes to EZA, both points i make still hold true and are really important for the growth and the livelihood of EZA. I know L&R is the mantra, and i believe, that we as fans, should also keep this mantra in mind when expressing our love for the 9 and the community. L&R --Randy

Greetings Jones! It might be premature but I was wondering if you guys had any communication plans ready regarding the studio once we're hitting very steady 45k every month keeping Trailer Jones running. If not I'd like you guys to at least consider it, the reason basically being that I still often see people(and myself included) not having a clear idea what the studio means what the implication are when we're hitting 50k for the first time. The conditions to keep it running, etc etc etc. There's just all kinds of questions that might be better answered before we're hitting the goal but of course I might be wrong on that :) L&R and thanks for all the hard work! - David

Hey Brandon, I just have a question about how you organize yourself as a buisness. With the money you get from Patreon, do you each get a salary, or do you pay yourselves based on the content youve made each month, or hours you put in? just curious. Crazy how 1 year ago everyone was hoping you guys would do a Patreon and you did just that. The name was off-putting at first but eventually fit right in. From the E3 streams, to the Brandon Plays Pokemon eps, to the just can't wait for the Switch jingle, and so much more, it's been a good time. Looking forward to more memories from the gang. The moment I realized GT was gone I was taken by what can be best described as a small emotional breakdown. I wasn't taking so well the notion of losing all of you guys at once. Desperately seeking for answers I soon learned about EZA on Patreon. Without blinking I was all set to make my pledge, my first and only. My proud support is yours for as long I'll be living. I don't want to see a world without Easy Allies. I had a taste of it for a moment between GT and EZA and it was just too sad to ever contemplate again.
