Zelda Talk - Better Storytelling in Zelda (Spoiler Warning)

So here's the second attempt at this new Zelda show, which I'm now tentatively calling Zelda Talk. I was trying to get a third guest to join us for this episode, but unfortunately the timing didn't work out, so it's just Matt Simmons of YoVideoGames and me again. Hopefully for the next one I can get this new guest to join since I'd like to keep changing up the crew for each episode.
This time around, I edited the video myself. The original cut was strictly story cutscenes from Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but I felt that was going a bit too far with the spoilers, so I toned it down to almost exclusively gameplay clips. And yes, this means I forsee that I will be editing this show at times going forward in order to get it up in a timely fashion given how busy eveyrone is and how simple the concept can be for some episodes. However, for the manual pilot that I want to turn into a proper episode, I will likely need some assitance until my editing gets better.
Give me your feedback on how you feel the episode turned out edit wise and if you liked what we discussed. This series will also be available in audio format, which you can grab from SoundCloud today, and eventually iTunes and Android.

My goal will be the produce one of these every other week going forward. We're still figuring out what day these will go up, but as soon as we have a day we agree on we'll make that the routine scheduled time. Also, I'm going to discuss if going forward we should make this available early to our Patrons, and then set it public 2 days after like we do with the EZA Podcast. But since I'm still getting this thing settled, it will be public access for now, and I will give you all a heads up if things will change.

2017-03-06 22:29:19 +0000 UTCThat was some interesting discussion. I think for discussion types of content, the video is not as important as the points being discussed. Some youtuber called TotalBiscuit just rambles over gameplay and he's fairly successful. Looking forward to the next one!

One cool thing is that I got the Switch & Zelda for my Daughter for her 13th birthday and she's been playing it this weekend and when I went to check on her I couldn't believe how much of the map that she had covered, I was honestly afraid the game might be too difficult for her but she said she's got the hang of it, I guess I have to remember that I was a kid when I first played the original anyway it's cool seeing her so into the game, maybe she'll even let me play it when she finishes it.

Nothing against you Damiani but for now I would rather love the other allies to give us their thoughts on the game. I mean EZA is in general pretty positive, so I imagine if there is one game where you can let the hype flow freely, it would be this game, right? So looking forward to the next Frame Trap discussions etc.

I do not believe we spoil much of Breath of the Wild, but we bring out general issues related to trying to place it in the Zelda Timeline and I think it was only fair to warn people who don't want to hear anything just yet. It's fine if people come back to listen to it later, I was just really passionate about talking about this last week and I felt it was the right time to record it. Also, we discuss spoilers for all the other games, so that was another reason for the warning.
