This Week's Group Stream Night

A top tier stream, surprised it took this long to get here honestly. Good to see MGs be the first main choice. MGS 3 is my pick for the franchise, but I understand the argument for MGS1. It needed more RPG love, namely Chrono Trigger!

Hall of Greats is a cool idea. Because each of you have a unique perspective on great games, why not assemble personal lists as well as a unanimous master list for all of you? Also, great to finally be a patron!

Kyle- like others have said great idea but we should have a couple shoe ins immediately where we don't have to debate those otherwise we are going to hear debates for about 2 years (every 4 months) on Mario 3, Mario, Super Metroid, Metal Gear Solid, etc. that I bet if you just said does anyone dispute this- no one would.

HoG sounds awesome! Reminds me of Eberts 'Great Movies'. HoG Videos would be a must then - Just the Presentation of the game in a well produced Video. As added Bonus to the 40k Tier maybe?!

I thought it was an obvious choice, and it is. Always prefer hearing your opinions on things. Granted if you need something else to fill time after the Hall of Greats, my vote would be Halo Wars 2

Lists are generally dumb and boring. It'd be more fun if you made people do a stream or, even better, edit a personal "greats" trailer for their entry if you're going to do this. After the GOTY stream, it seems clear to me that group stream debate is a bad format for this kind of thing.

Also I've had an idea. With the current consoles we've had recording capabilities. What do you think about presenting your clips from video games and the communities clips from Psn and Xbox clubs.

This first HOG is gonna be crazy, maybe a good strategy is to hold of the top tier game for a later HOG victory. I guess Bloodborne is a guaranteed landslide.

I hope this overwhelming lead in votes showcases how much we want you guys to do fun shows and op-eds compared to just watching you guys stream games. I know the twitch streams are easier to do hence the higher volume, but I personally would rather watch more shows and podcasts and have less livestreams :) Love and respect!

Hall of Great sounds too much like other stuff we've seen. You already do Kill Your Babies and we've see tons of top 10 and top 100 lists. This would probably be dominated by the usual games on these lists, Zelda:OoT, Mario 3, Super Metroid, etc. They're all great games, but I don't see the point in having a debate again. Halo Wars 2 sounds like a lot more interesting.

Hall of Greats just seems like a more elaborate version of Kill Your Babies. But with just one game getting the attention & motivations for being great instead. Which I'm kinda tired of, having been done by EZA and so many others frequently. So let's play a videogame instead please!

oh hell yeah eza hall of greats, that is an awesome idea. just bring non-obvious games. we don't need SMB3 inducted on the day 1. or do a lightning round and induct 10 obvious games at once.

I believe Kyle means that every 4 months they will have an option to induct another game into the Hall of Greats. Not that the game chosen Tuesday night will be on a poll to play for group stream every 4 months.

I really don't like this idea for a few reasons: -A great game isn't always a great stream. -I don't wanna see repeat games on stream. -The HoG game would win by default.

I think Hall of Greats is a great idea but to play Devil's Advocate the parameters that are set as now I can just predict a bunch classic games from the NES, SNES and N64 era filling the lists which really isnt that interesting in 2017. Like do we really need to hear why Super Metroid is great for the hundredth time? But it could be fun.

As much as I love Final Fight 3, I'm voting for the Hall of Greats. FF3 was a game I never bought but would rent continuously from the store. One week I went on to rent it and found out a kid broke the cartridge. To this day, I've been heartbroken over this moment.

'Hall of Greats' is a fantastic idea. The 'Kill Your Babies' episode with you, Ben and Ian had moments where you had to defend your line of reasoning and if it's an extended version of that, sign me up!

Kyle gave a great short "One of the greats" speech at the end of the Kill Your Babies episode with Ian and Ben. I think one per person might be too easy though, because there are so many greats. How about choose a console....like the 'Genesis' and everyone has to do a 'one of the greats' for that. Between now and the end of the year you could then do one for the NES, SNES, PS1 , XBOX etc....maybe once a month
