Nioh - Easy Allies Review

Great review, Ben. Although it's longer than most video game reviews out there, I appreciate you depth and attention to detail you use when analyzing the game's many systems. I like that even something as trivial as the game's potential video settings gets mentioned by you because you feel it's important. Most people wouldn't give something like that a second thought. I started writing my own video game reviews for fun, and feel like I lean toward your style of reviews. I enjoy analyzing everything a game does, and not just what is most important to the game. I don't have any subscribers yet but if I did I would feel badly for them because of the length of my reviews, and because there is no video. Although I like the way I'm writing, I also know there are ways to make it more interesting and more appealing to people, but it's just not something I am good at. I would love to hear on Frame Trap how you and the other Allies approach writing game reviews because I imagine it varies greatly and I could learn something. I've actually never submitted a question to Frame Trap before. How do I do that?

I'm not sure if I'll ever play this again. But I am willing to give it a shot. I just wanted to say, what an amazing review. Seriously guys, the best yet. Beautiful work.

Great video! You guys are getting better and better.

I'm not going to speak for Ben but he usually is amazing about not spoiling things so I think these are things encountered very very early on in the game or shown in trailers at e3/ other places so we might already have had exposure? He mentions that there are a lot of bosses (more so than souls games I think by a lot), which, if true, means I doubt much has been spoiled but I hear you and I think that it could be a valid concern. From reading reviews at different sites it seems that the story is kind of all over the place so I'm not sure about that one

I kinda feel like there were a few spoilers in the capture. It would've been cool to come across a couple of those bosses on my own. I only mention it here because you guys are always so careful not to spoil anything at all without proper warning(s), so I figured it'd be fine to watch the review before playing it. That was my fault, I know better, but, again, you guys are very diligent when it comes to spoilers, so I dropped my guard. My mistake. Lesson learned. Thankfully it wasn't a story spoiler...unless it was and I'll find out when I get around to playing it. I'm also a little surprised by the score considering all the minor issues Ben had with it. They add up and seemed like they would've actually affected the final score, but until I play it I can't know how much those things may mean to me. I think I sound more whiny than intended, but I'll take that hit if my point is at least heard (read.)

I bought it and sold it within the same day. It seems like a really great game but I just don't have the patience for these sorts of games anymore. Getting old :(

Nice! Still not sure if I want to pick this one up, but nice to know it's a quality game.
