Community Comments - March 2017

At last, your wonderful thoughts on our anniversary month from March’s Community Comments. Some people were able to make it out to Los Angeles and think back on their favorite moments, big or small, and others watch online and ponder what’s possible in year two. It’s an emotional episode. I think “love & respect” is mentioned 50 times. It shows how this series can echo how our fans are feeling, good or bad, about the biggest things in our own lives, from the EZA Concert to Zelda.

Most of our shows have been on schedule lately, even with bonus shows like Don’t Skip, and the two new podcasts, but Community Comments continues to be a wild kite on the wind. I’m going to try and reel April in before the month of May is finished. When this month began I found myself wearing my Brand Manager hat more than usual in preparation for E3, and some stuff we want to spend money on in 2017. Moving back into editor mode as we prepare some videos for E3. The air is electric as we move into convention season, and I can’t wait to hear what you all have to say about it.

Guys, I think it's time to implement a character limit. Some of these were a little out of control.

Thanks for selecting my comment. I really appreciate you guys and congrats on the one year anniversary! EZA for life! L&R

Why? What makes people unworthy to have their comments heard just because they don't agree with everyone? If that's the sort of place people want this community is going to shrink REALLY fast.

I kind of hope going forward they keep the negativity towards games out of community comments. I love hearing peoples positive experience and don't care for their negative ones. There's enough of that on forums. Spread love, not hate.

Kyra Stenroos, if you are reading this, I implore you not to just get one ending for Nier Automata. This is not the full game or even close to it as this sort of thing in most games would be. Also, consider that getting the "proper" ending for Nier Automata will probably still take you less time than simply finishing Persona 5 at all. Both are great games. Just try not to feel overwhelmed by the sound of "multiple endings" when the length to the proper one will still be roughly in line with other games on your list. L&R

Pretty disappointing to hear someone admitting they had a very limited time with a game, then tearing into it harshly. Many of their feelings on the game would've probably changed if they had sank any sort of respectable time into it. There's very few games period where controls will click with you immediately. It's an opinion sure, but it's frustrating how quickly people can become dismissive of something and to see that attitude glorified.

LOL is this now the shit on games section? Disapointing that people in the community are to dumb to realise that people have different tastes.

I really enjoy all the work they put into forming a community. Where else would you ever find a video like this? Easy does it i guess.

Robert I., I loved your comment. Adam Henry, I REALLY wish I had a copy of your game. It's. Awesome.

Brandon K Gann

A well timed release, making a nice end cap to an otherwise sour day. L&R. Nearly a year of off and on submissions, my thought remains the same. "My comment's nothing special by any means, but it's still neat hearing it be immortalized by the voice I've heard in reviews and other games content for nearly a decade"

Jordan Kirk

I love writing copy for Brandon, it's the best

Thank you for reading my comment, it means a lot to me. L&R
