Vote for Fun Game Monday!

We finally made it through The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon on last week's Dumb Game Monday, but not without some scars. For the past few weeks, streaming has been the legitimate majority of my time spent playing video games, and even though I believe in the purpose of Dumb Game Monday, I'm feeling like I need a break from the dumb games.
That's why we're doing Fun Game Monday! I want you to vote from one of four titles currently deep in my docket, games I've genuinely been wanting to play but keep finding themselves on the back burner. Our options:
- Banjo-Kazooie - Since I never owned a Nintendo 64, I played through Mario 64 for the first time last year and obviously loved it. I always wanted to try this game next.
- Dark Souls III - I'm actually pretty deep into Dark Souls III, maybe 3/4 through, but it's always this thing where it's stressful to jump back into it. You can't casually play just a bit of Dark Souls. I need to re-dedicate myself.
- Mega Man Legends - After years of it looking completely impossible, this was finally released on the PlayStation store last year. It's one of my Top 10 games ever, but I played it for twenty minutes and moved onto shiny new games. This game deserves better.
- Pokémon Trading Card Game 2 - this is a GameBoy Color game that was never released in the US. I love the first game--it's actually a sweet RPG--and always dreamed of playing this one. I'll be playing a fan-translated ROM, but yeah, I bought the Japanese cartridge.

Also, there's the matter of The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon's induction into the Dumb Game Monday Hall of Fame. Remember that this is not a vote over whether or not we like the game, but whether or not it carries the spirit of a great dumb game. A 2/3rds vote is required for any game to make it into the Hall of Fame.

Would like to see you stream Legends or Dark Souls the most, loved the original Pokemon TCG video game but don't really want to watch something like that. I haven't played through (entirely) either Legends or DSIII myself, but I think you need Banjo in your life in order to fully appreciate Yooka-Laylee. You didn't own a 64? I'm so sorry Kyle. I never owned a PS1, had to play it at friend's houses. We both had messed up childhoods.

2016-10-10 09:39:43 +0000 UTCI know there's almost no chance of Pokemon TCG 2 winning against Banjo Kazooie and Mega Man Legends, but this will probably be the only time we ever get the chance to vote for Kyle to play it, whereas I can feasibly imagine a future where more chances for Kyle playing Banjo Kazooie and Mega Man Legends presents itself. I've played this same fan translated rom before as I'm a huge fan of the original who grew up with it, and guys the sequel is REALLY good. Completely improves over the original in every way. I know you wanna see Kyle rave about Mega Man Legends or play Banjo Kazooie for the first time, and trust me so do I, but if you've never been aware of the TCG games, give this a chance while it has this rare chance. You will not be disappointed, and there's always next time for the others.

2016-10-09 20:33:30 +0000 UTCMy first instinct was Banjo-Kazooie, such a great game. Considering you only played Mario 64 last year, and B-K was released 2 years after Mario 64, I guess it can wait. It is a must for next year though. My vote goes Dark Souls 3. Game is too good to be left at 3/4 completed. We'll be here with you for the stressful times.
