Review - Destiny: Rise of Iron

you got ripped off. it's only 29.99

"Decent" sums it up pretty well. I've played enough hours of it so far to justify the $39.99 and haven't touched the raid yet.

I own it. Boring story thats 2hrs, 1hr and abit on 2nd playthrough and I've done it on all 3 characters. Copy and paste areas and enemies lazy Bungie as per usual. As a PS user thats never played Xbox/Halo I expected way more from the so called Gods Bungie than we've gotten. TTK expansion was of much higher quality but even that was robbery in terms of the price. The raid is much fun and if you replay it many times with friends the cost may be worth it. If you compare it to the content a game like Witcher 3 contains tho its a joke. £130 all this Destiny content has cost me since its launch. I think for Destiny 2 I'll just jump in at the third year and get it all in 1 cheap package. Iron DLC 6/10 ONLY if you have the friends to raid, otherwise its not just worth buying at all. Only 1 new strike and 4 new pvp maps.

Good review Huber. I think you did a great job of capturing the good and bad of Destiny and this feels pretty accurate to what I've been hearing/seeing on the expansion. Just a bit of constructive criticism. The pacing of your script is jarring. Twice you mentioned the best part of the expansion but listed two separate things. There were a few transitional paragraphs that kinda flopped at transitioning to your next big point so it was a little awkward to listen to. Especially when you are praising something by saying it's one of the best aspects of the expansion, while the next sentence then talks about it not being that interesting overall. I might be flat out wrong or in the minority here, just voicing what I noticed. Thanks for the review!

got the new expansion tried playing it but it's just so hard to get back into destiny for me. I keep going to other games and it's like a chore to try and bring myself to finish the story missions. I'll probably never find enough people to play the raid
