New 40K Goal - Story Time with Damiani

Agree with Sam Wilcockson. I really enjoyed it. It's fun getting perspective from other people. I have a funny story about the Super Mario Bros game actually. My younger brother, who played Luigi, once told me that jumping down the empty ground would warp me into a new zone. So I basically made Mario commit suicide. I was so mad.

I enjoyed it, different pace from everything else, just a relaxing story time. I'd love to hear everyone else do the same topic then cycle through to something else like first time playing favourite game, or first multiplayer experience etc

Oh good god no. Anyone else please. I can't discern what this man is making up for dramatic purposes and what's actually real. I'd love to listen to Brad or Ben instead, much prefer their rhetoric.

Yeah, I'd rather this be more than Damiani. I mean at the very least if this is going to be a stretch goal, where you're rewarding your fans who spend more money on you, at the very least a) shave, and b) be interesting. I didn't find this kind of content very entertaining, or at the very least this story bored me. TBH, I would /love/ more shows like Brandon plays Pokemon. Like have Kyle plays Persona 4 hosted by Ben, or Brad plays Fifa, or something that really captures what its like to experience gaming. I'm not saying this idea doesn't work, it's just a really, REALLY rough pilot episode that does not live up to the usual quality of EZA in its current state.

It'd be great to have a fundraising drive to get people to pitch in. It's easy to put off donating thinking someone else will, but a drive environment might help it.

I'd love it if you would focus on every EZA members "origin story" and how they came into contact with games instead of just Damiani's. That would make for a more diverse and longer series. This was a really good start, though. Looking forward to more.

This is a super neat idea! I really enjoyed the pilot. I hope 40k can be hit once more so we get more of these. Thank you for sharing Mr. Damiani! If Patreon comments are working again, so here is my question: Are you willing to pick stories from the community related to the previous episode? For example, since this episode was an intro to Nintendo, my intro was my dad had an NES and he had the split SMB and Duck Hunt. When I got a Game Boy Color, SMB Deluxe was the first game I received and I played it SO MUCH. Great concept for a show! Q&A: Speculate on the alternate timeline. How did "Sporty Damiani's" absence from GameTrailers effect GT, EZA, and what do you think sporty you ended up doing for a living? Did you still find videogames but ended up a Sega fan instead? Also, I agree it should be opened to any Ally that has a story to tell.
