2017-01-02 12:17:07 +0000 UTCThe Rey "Mary Sue" thing has more to do with how little the movie challenges her or gives her flaws that could lead to character growth. She picks up on advanced Force powers with no prompts or training whatsoever (the Jedi mind trick thing, for example), and beats up Kylo Ren (who WAS extensively trained) during their first fight. I feel like people often do a pretty bad job explaining their issues with that character and Ep VII as a whole. Also, Rogue One was flippin awesome.

Then it ended with the written 'epilogue' and I laughed so hard I actually cried. Thank you for this uplifting reminder that, though you've all been on break, we are all connected in this world by our timeless love and respect. *If you're reading this 300 years from now I'm sure you understand how important EZA has been to the world.*
