Nice review. I played the beta very meh. I have the platinum for Borderlands 2 twice, PS3 and PS4 versions and have no interest in this game. Well maybe when its dead cheap ;). Bring out Borderlands 3!

They're two different games, but there's no denying the fact that there's pressure on the Battleborn developers leading up to and following Overwatch's release. Overwatch caters to a larger demographic than Battleborn and - arguably - there's considerably more space on the multiplayer front for a "TF2"-style game than another MOBA right now. The comparison between Overwatch and Battleborn is pretty consistent across the board for most gaming outlets, but I don't get the impression that it's because of any confusion of what Battleborn is versus what Overwatch is.

I honestly cringed a little when Overwatch was brought up in the review. They're two different games with different multiplayer systems. Overwatch is an objective based team shooter whereas Battleborn is a MOBA but they both happen to have a large array of characters to play as. I really enjoyed the humor in Borderlands 1 and 2 and when I played the beta for Battleborn the humor was one of the things that I immediately fell in love with about the game.
