Update 18 Roadmap

Hello everybody! Well, Update 17 is behind us now and it's time to look forward once again. Hope you all enjoyed the update. I was pretty happy with it.

Now... Update 18 is one that I've been dreading for a while, because it is the end of a lot of things. This is the last "sandbox" update. Update 19 begins the end-game, which is something completely different. So, this update is intended to wrap up a lot of character stories, deliver on any promises that I made, and begin the endgame. There's a lot going on.

I've finished my outline and on paper, it's the biggest update so far. There's more story, dialogue, and scenes than any other update. There's less sex. And since there's less sex, there's less animations.

Here's the numbers that I have right now:

18 New Story Scenes - We get major scenes for Suzy and Tammy, Izzy, Kendra, Adrian, Gertrude, Mrs. Mills, Brandi, Bai, Mi-Cha, and a couple of main story scenes.

1 New Repeatable Sex Scene - Whaaa, only one? That's right. No room for mindless sex in this update. Too much story.

3 New Dates - You'll be able to take Ms. Welch to the bar (that can only go well, right?), Mari to the beach, and Lisa to the cafe.

11 New Conversations - I might increase this before the end, but right now, I only have plans for 11 of them.

More Navigation Improvement - The feedback on the outfit choice screen has been very positive and I think everybody generally likes the image menus that I've been putting in, replacing the text menus that just say (NEW) on them. Slowly going to be doing that with all the menus, but it just takes so much time, it might not be done until the game is finished.

Voices - I'm trying to include more voices, but it's been such a time suck the last couple of updates. No promises here. I am going to likely request some more voicework from a couple of my more reliable actresses, and I'm going to try to find a voice actress for Izzy, but I have had no luck finding somebody I think works for her so far.

Bonus Scenes - The first bonus scene, I'll just go ahead and reveal. It's Troutsmell. There's been a lot of demand for her to make an actual appearance in the game, and even though I never planned on any of the people in Brandi chat actually becoming real characters, I went ahead and caved to the demand and wrote a scene with Troutsmell. The second bonus scene features Mari, because I realize that she hasn't had much content in the last few updates, and I feel like I need to fix that. There's also a bunch of new alternate outfits.

Other Scenes to Tease - Just a little tease of a few other scenes that are going to be in this update: A MFFF foursome. A couple scenes that might make you cry. Kendra meeting a character that she hasn't met before. Another hotel visit with Gertrude. Mrs. Mills' birthday. Brandi's butt. A MMMMF bisexual orgy. Mi-Cha dances again. And finally... the MC goes through the hoop.

Release

So when is it going to release?

I'm not sure yet. This is a very big update and I'll admit that I've been slowing down a little on production. Not because I'm losing interest or I don't enjoy making the game. Just because I've been taking care of myself a little better - working out, taking days off. Also, I have two vacations planned. One small one in June and a bigger one in August/September.

That said, my spreadsheet where I track everything is estimating a September release. I'm going to try to push it to August, but no promises yet.

Of course, I'll always keep you updated and let you know the progress here every week.

Final Thoughts

Update 18 is such a huge part of the game for me. There's a lot of things that happen here that I've had in my mind for a long time - particularly a scene with Kendra, a scene with Izzy, a scene with Adrian, and the scene where the MC goes through the hoop. These are scenes that I've been thinking about for years. It's exciting (and scary) to finally be getting to them.

It's also really scary that we're getting close to the end of the game. Man, I hope you guys like it.

Anyways, that's what I have right now. I've already begun working on it pretty hard and I'll let you all know next week how the progress is coming.
