Finished

My friends, here's the finished diorama. It was SO. MUCH. FUN. from start to finish! I'm hoping for more similar projects in the future!

But right now, it's time for the next project, the Warhammer tank built and painted in armor modelling style :) With more focus on the realistic look.

Good points! I photographed it in front of the black wall I normally use for shooting the final 360 shots because my workbench was too messy for the final reveal :)

Thanks for the response, Dawn! I see from your previous comment that you love the lighting. For me, I agree that a white or middle grey would pop the model forward (as it does in the in-process photos). My observation was based on how the darks in the model merge with the dark background to flatten the image and hide a lot of that gorgeous detail (such as the lamp). Either way, a beautiful model, however it's photographed ๐Ÿ˜

an alternate is 18% grey. (thats Middle grey). Im a photographer, its the mid point between black and white and adds a lot. You may like it

Dawn

Fantastic work!

Artur Twardzik

Incredible work as always! Small observation: for me, the black background kind of swallows up some of the fine details and makes a very small scene seem smaller. No matter, looking forward to your Warhammer build. Your super-realism talents always blossom when turned loose on an imaginary subject (such as your great Maschinen Krieger WW1 Diorama).

Excellent to the Third Power !!!

Bob

The pigeons are a nice touch ๐Ÿ˜

Mark Carrig

Nothing more beautiful than an old rusted train. Bravo sir

Bob Yack

Very nice story, enjoy all the little details, the pigeons are painted very believably, but the countdown to the video continues...

Danny Jeurissen

wonderful like ever!!!

DR SCALE MODEL

Soooo good!

Rick

That is so good! The wood stain on the sides really matches the rest of the scene.

Solomon Hollowell

That is fabulous โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

That lighting is toooo much. Omg. I love it

Dawn

Next Level Martin, moving the rust and dirt debate forward.

Edmond Griffith-Jones

What an excellent piece. Where my partner lives, there is a train line that runs restored steam loco and if you travel by steam, it takes you past the restoration yard full of old locos etc. This would look right at home.

Paul Garrity

Really nice!! Looking forward to the warhammer tank as well ๐Ÿ˜€

Lovely work as always! And as someone who happily trod the dark paths of Warhammer for many before moving to armour modelling, I'm really looking forward to seeing how you tackle the next project.

Dan Sly

LOL I almost forgot about the Warhammer project, this is gonna be good!

Christopher Obarski

Nice, really nice.
