Added 2019-12-25 19:47:46 +0000 UTCChristmas a year ago spent in this SoCal desert oasis. Fuck I miss it a lot right now. I had just come from Joshua Tree. EVERYONE was there. Iβm not a huge fan of Joshua Tree. Policed nature is awkward but also totally necessary because people are shitheads. During the government shutdown earlier this year, a bunch of the trees were purposefully destroyed. I had my reserved camping spot stolen by a Russian family and had to sleep in Baby P on the side of the road because the park was so full. I took a bunch of photos there that no one has seen because I place so much importance on how I felt while shooting.
On this platform, though, I can eventually share them with more introspective and intimate tidbits about how I felt and all of that can be wrapped together as part of the art.
