Hello from Newport, Rhode Island. For the next few days, I'll be living the dream - boppin' around the Newport Folk Fest with a beer in one hand and an RX1R III in the other. (If you're here too, say hi!)

In high school, when asked what I wanted to do with my life, I often said, "Travel the world with a camera in my hand". But truthfully, I had no idea what that was supposed to mean. I just knew that 1. I loved cameras and 2. I wanted to see the world. So I just started shooting.

First in NYC with a DSLR.

Then 16mm.

Sonys!

Blackmagic, of course.

And then it wasn't just NYC... it was Thailand!

It was Utah!

Nevada!

Italy!

I've always heard that you shouldn't make your hobby your job, and some days I agree. But then I remember just how much time we all spend working. And I can confidently say that there is nothing I would like to spend more time doing than traveling the world with a camera in my hand. Follow your dreams, bud.
