True story: Was out Xmas shopping one time, and this woman walking two little dogs in sweaters passes me on the sidewalk. I say something like “Aww wook at the sweater puppies!” She gives me the stink eye and says “You’re getting a lump of coal in your stocking”. Took me half an hour to figure out what I’d done.
