Also I got much better after I started meds, but it took time (years) for my mind to fully change. So hopefully that will be your experience with ADHD meds as well. I wish you well.

I have OCD, and listening to you sometimes I wonder if you have it too. For example, my OCD has caused stuff like inability to get my brain to stop thinking, trouble sleeping because of that, perfectionism, and repetitively beating myself up mentally about certain things. I remember you saying you also experience these things. There's a lot of overlap between ADHD, autism, and OCD, so just because I see some commonalities in our symptoms doesn't mean you have it, but I still wanted to share in case this is useful information. I don't post this because I want a response.
