FYI: Subscription through the Apple/IOS Patreon app
Added 2025-04-26 11:16:37 +0000 UTCApple charges a brutal 43% fee for purchases made through their store, so if you subscribe through the IOS patreon app, you will end up paying more (6 USD vs 4 USD - which is the actual price - if I understand correctly). Apple pockets the difference. On top of that, Apple keeps the money you send for a whopping 75 days before sending it onwards.
TL:DR - If you subscribe through the IOS patreon app you will pay more while I get the same amount. I recommend subscribing through a browser.

Thanks for the reminder, and it was one, it reminded me that I’ve specifically used a browser just to subscribe to another Patreon before, just entirely forgot it in the year between that and becoming your patron lol. I’ll resubscribe through a browser next month :)
