Quick update on the PokΓ©os mobile application: Android release this month π
Added 2025-04-07 12:58:56 +0000 UTCOn the iOS side, weβve made some progress recently, but weβre still facing a few issues. Itβs a bit tricky due to how the app is structured and how strict (and vague) Apple can be with their requirements. Weβre working on it, and while part of it is on us, itβs also not entirely in our control.
That said, weβre slowly but surely making progress β itβs been two months of back and forth, but things are moving.
As for Android: the app is 100% complete and fully ready to launch since February. Regardless of the iOS situation, we will be releasing the Android version this month π€©
Our hope is to fix the iOS situation in the coming weeks so we can launch on both platforms at the same time. But we didnβt want to keep delaying the Android release just because of iOS.
So hereβs the plan:
- Weβre giving ourselves a few more weeks to try to sort out iOS.
- If the issue remains unresolved, weβll move forward with the Android release anyway.
- In case of further delays on iOS, the app will be available exclusively to our Patreon supporters for now. The iOS version is already ready on our side β and this is the only way we can distribute it in the meantime.
