But the big news is that it now is essentially 99.9999% confirmed that The Mandalorian Season Four is CANCELLED. We're going to explain why in the video. The movie is still coming and goes into production in June. If you've been following my channel on YouTube, this isn't a shock to you as our source that works on the project has been telling us this for weeks. But it's still a huge deal.

By cancelling season four, Lucasfilm achieves a number of things -- and so does Disney. But most importantly for anyone who had any hope for the movie, Dave Filoni is now the chief architect of the script. Favreau has control of the editing. But you won't be seeing Baby Yoda and Mando together again all the way until 2026 if all of this holds up. That's a long time for Disney's last vestige of Star Wars merchandising to go without content. And my bet is that many kids age out of caring by the time we get there.
