Bob Iger Drops 90%+ of His Disney Stock

CEO of the Walt Disney Company, Bob Iger, is either not a fan of his own company or perhaps he's just not buying green bananas any longer. Whatever is going on, Iger has offloaded more than 90% of his TWDC stock over the last two years -- either via getting rid of stock in hand or stock promised to him via his contract.

It's a bizarre thing to see given that Iger is fighting for the future of the company via a proxy vote for board seats in April. Each of his shares could have been voted, but those holdings went elsewhere.

So that you can see what we're talking about, I have provided SEC filings above that corroborate what you're reading. Of note as well is that a website called 247 Wall Street published an article recently detailing that Iger had sold 80% of his stock. That was a story in-and-of-itself. We watched as YouTubers jumped on the story as well as at least one digital publication. But Jonas Campbell went to work investigating the actual source docs and realized that the report (while accurate) was accurate for a year ago. It wasn't modern. That's when we discovered the real story was much, much bigger.

And as you can see in the images, Iger might have some 'splaining to do with other shareholders if he's simultaneously telling them to vote for his vision of the company while he monetarily divests from said vision. It's a bizarre thing and I'm honestly shocked it hasn't been made public before.

We'll be covering this on That Park Place LIVE www.youtube.com/@ThatParkPlace at Noon Eastern today -- make sure to check it out!
