Entertainment is not liberated from politics in an election year and that's exactly what we're seeing as the FCC attempts (again) to regulate DEI issues via the government. This is about swing number three or four on this with prior efforts all tossed out by courts. Now it seems the attempt is going to be based on "information gathering only" concepts... but the likelihood of that being the government's total interest is low. One thing is for sure: at the very least it's going to create new DEI jobs inside of entertainment companies if they have to document all of this for the government.
And that's even if it's just for the purpose of "studying" the Issue.
We've provided the FCC documents so you can judge for yourself!
