RISE Program at Disney: Q&A

This is just the beginning of what we will be investigating over the coming weeks. It's funny how that whole situation went silent so quickly. I think she got word DIsney wanted to cancel her project so she tried to get ahead of it and went to the press on her own so it would then be bad optics for Disney to cancel it.

2024-05-03 20:42:34 +0000 UTCI don't wanna get 'conspiracy theorist', but let's ask the question - was this how Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy was given the Lucasfilm director spot for the 'Rey movie'? She gets onto the radar through this RISE program's leader and then brought over to Lucasfilm. This doesn't seem too far-fetched to me.

I enjoyed the discussion and agree that this is a play for power using diversity and religion as cover. I get the feeling this is part of a much larger Neo-Marxist force attempting to shift culture and Disney and entertainment is only one small part of it. The timing of this discovery along with what is going on on college campuses all seem a bit too related. I am of the mindset that due to actions like this, DIsney is beyond saving as a company and should be allowed to fail. Do you think this might play into why Disney fought so hard to keep Peltz out?
