Sent to me by LW Ghost, I thought readers might very much enjoy seeing the original Roadrunner bible designed to keep the Looney Tunes of the American Southwest on the right roadways!
Hmmn. I’m not entirely sure #9 was always followed.

The one time I remember them breaking the rules was when some kids were watching TV and wondering why the coyote liked chasing the road runner. The coyote stopped on the TV and explained his fascination with chasing the roadrunner.

This is great. I had seen it before and was able to include these rules in my introductions to 2 Loony Tunes shorts programs.

The simplicity of these cartoons, along with their use of humor rather than messaging to convey the humanly-universal idea of obstinance (through animals), is what makes them so ingenious. Will have to share with my dad--he loves Road Runner! (Me too, though my top favorite is Bugs Bunny.)
