Hollywood Insider Responds to My Acolyte Analysis

From a good friend and Hollwood insider in regards to my evening video on The Acolyte:

So I just watched your Acolyte video. You got it...but you missed it. The BIGGER issue, in my not-so-humble-opinion, or rather the TWO are: (A) Leslie Hedlund LIKES Villainy--she thinks people, causes, and actions we "normal" people find to be villainous and evil to be, well...COOL and FUN. But SECOND (B) The whole evil point of that statement about how it isn't about good and evil but about power and who is permitted to wield it IS NOT the question of who wields it but of WHO IS THE AUTHORITY THAT GIVES THEM THAT PERMISSION! And THAT is the core of the leftist ethos (if we can use that word for something w/o ethics) is that they are about granting or denying PERMISSION to use power that only THEY, not God, not the State, not the Voters or the People, are in control of and thus grant or withhold at THEIR pleasure for THEIR reasons AND that they are totally BEYOND conventional "morality" and "good and evil" and all those oh-so-yesterday concepts because they are the enlightened anointed arbiters and thus quite literally a law unto themselves and anyone who opposes this deserves crushing, period. THAT--not the racial/sexual makeup of that trailer, and NOT the Sith-good/Jedi-bad stuff which you so rightly covered today---THAT utter denial OF those "outdated" and "conventional" and thus "uncool" concepts of good vs. evil that have been the mainstay not just of prior original Star Wars but of ALL fiction and drama since the world began--THAT is their marching credo. They don't have to prove that they have merit--they just DO because THEY say so. And you will like it and obey and the beatings will continue 'till the obedience improves! OH, and that pesky little issue of using opm--other people's money, in this case that of investors big and small who OWN the instrument of their policy of re-education and control? Big deal! We can't be "evil" for co-opting it because we are BEYOND good and evil because we SAY so!
