This was literally the first time I'd ever even *heard of* Liz Phair. I really didn't know what to expect lol. Boy was I pleasantly surprised when the chorus hit 😂. One of those cough on your own laughter moments and accidentally spit on whatever's in front of you hahaha.

Lol. Happy BDay Gonzo. This one is from the same album as ‘Why Can’t I?’ (Her self titled, 2003); Which is probably the song I know Liz Phair for mostly as it was featured in the 2004 Jennifer Garner movie 13 GOING ON 30 (titled ‘SUDDENLY 30’ in some countries).
Apparently that album was a step in a more ‘pop’ direction for her. That cover with the guitar covering your bits has been done elsewhere too, such as Avril Lavigne’s 2019 album HEAD ABOVE WATER.
That Tenacious D song sounds vaguely familiar, but there is another song in this kinda area you haven’t got to yet surprisingly that’s slightly more subtle about it 😂 ;)
