Merida ☄️✨// step by step

Today I took a short break from work to draw Merida and I took some photos of the process!
Since these Disney Princesses drawings started in a veeery relaxed way just as an excuse to make short tiktok videos, I'm using my ugly sketchbook for these, which doesn't have a super nice paper, but that's okay. Even though it's not my regular Moleskine, markers hold on pretty well.
✦ Here's half way through the first ink layer with the Unipin 0.1 pen:
✦ Second inking layer with a Tombow:
✦ Base colors mixing Ohuhu and Copic markers:
✦ Shadows using a light violet marker, I use a BV02 Copic or my P3 Ohuhu marker for the skin. The dress is just a darker blue:
✦ Final details with Posca markers. I normally paint these small details with gouache but today I didn't want to clean the mess lol so I used posca instead, pretty cool!
I'm happy with the result, I love Merida 💖
I'm working on the Wacom tablet review I had pending, hope I can upload it soon ! I'm also filming a sketchbook tour for you aand besides working a lot, I'm doing a bit better than a few days ago :)
