Personally, my mvp point is when Askeladd threw his sword to the side and fought Thorfinn with his bare hands. The parallels to Thor vs Askeladds crew in the beginning. Chefโs kiss๐ค๐ผ๐ค๐ผ
2022-04-25 06:13:43 +0000 UTCMy interpretation of why Askeladd said Thorfinn was an idiot because he couldnโt kill him after 10 years is because heโs saying Thorfinn is heโs saying Thorfinn is a brash warrior who places value in the honor/winning against an opponent fairly. Askeladd has been winning the smart way and not the honorable way since the day he could hold a sword. Yet heโs the one who achieves results. Even against someone like Thors, who is a true, honorable warrior even more than someone like Thorfinn, Askeladd still won. Even though Askeladd is part Norse Viking, and even though he hates himself for it, heโs achieved results by distancing himself from the Viking/warrior way of doing things. Then again, I might be completely wrong. ๐ Sorry for the novel lol. Anyway, great episode. Loved your reaction.
