Decoded DTMF digits now temporarily replace the Group Name on screen.
The existing โDTMFโ menu category has been expanded with additional options.
Options include:
Decoding
Off โ No decoding
On โ Enable decoding only
P-ID โ Match heard sequences against presets and display their names
Display For โ How long (in seconds) detected digits are shown
SeqEnd Pause โ Pause (in seconds) after a detected digit, marking the end of a sequence
โก DTMF Preset Speed Dial
A new User Key function: โDTMF Speed Dialโ
Assign this to a key, and long-pressing it will transmit the corresponding DTMF preset.
Example: If LP-2 is set to DTMF Speed Dial, holding 2 will transmit preset #2.

Another small issue, if when transmitting you press a button to send a DTMF or repeater tone, if you release PTT before the other key, squelch gets stuck open and the key's RX based function is executed.

I'm not sure how the squelch is working for SI4732โis it possible to adjust the squelch, or is it only one setting (which is also fine)? From the RMS, I was also testing all tabs; there are no issues so farโI even saw and tested the scrambler per channel, which is also working fine (please remember about this feature for H3 - if you find time, of course). Since the DTMF function has been perfected, could someone explain how to use it? I'm not very knowledgeable about the subject; I've seen something online, but a more specific guide for the RT-880 and the Nisure firmware is needed. A video tutorial from Marcus would be great!
