Lara Croft and the Crocodile Pinup

You know, I'm gonna be honest here, I sometimes don't recognize the modern redesign for Lara Croft as being Lara Croft. I don't think that it's necessarily bad, but it just does not seem to possess any of the iconic design elements from classic Lara. And no, I am not referencing breast size, mostly just the outfit and hair style, and lack of sun glasses.
As much as I harp on about how much I dislike the Metroid: Other M design for Samus's Powersuit (and the fact that it is the current design for Smash Bros), at least it is still recognizable as Samus's Powersuit. Same goes for the Zero Suit; the Other M design was just awkward and added those stupid platform heels but it was still easily identifiable as the Zero Suit. Of course the current Smash Bros Design for the Zero suit while generally better than the Other M one is still stupid as it adds a bunch of completely non-canon design elements to the suit while still retaining the heels, which is really freaking stupid as the original concept art for the Zero Suit specified that the heel for the boot should be fairly short so as not to be impractical.
Okay rant over, long story short, New Croft is not easily recognizable as being Lara Croft.
