So, for a long time I've wanted to share what was animated for Hollow Era before it was canned.

Despite me working my absolute ass off on Vacuulus for weeks straight, there's many unfinished features that I can't share in video form QUITE yet but they're comin' fast. So, as my way of saying sorry, here's the first scene from Hollow Era that I wanted to share, and more or less the only fully complete scene. Most others are fragmented between partial animation and storyboards. But I still plan on sharing them soon in a sort of "Postmortem movie". So we can all be depressed at what could have been.

What's Hollow Era, and who are these characters?

Hollow Era was an animated series that I worked on for several years, it was a reimagined version of my series I worked on for a decade throughout my entire teenage/young adulthood called Epexsus. The full 40 minute Epexsus postmortem movie can also be found on my Patreon for the $10 tier. The characters seen in this clip are "young Makota" and Baroque, also reimagined versions of their former selves.

What happened to Hollow Era? Why did it get canceled?

Long story short, turns out I really love 2d animation, but, not enough to dedicate the time needed doing it to a project like this. I had been working on long form 2d animations for a decade and after yet again struggling with story issues and motivation to work on the scenes as a result, I had just decided it was time to move on.
