You always come up with such unique ways for how Over-father powers could be used! Yes, I’m sure they could get creative and do things like that. In fact, if it’s alright with you, I might try and work that in, I know exactly where it could go in the upcoming issues. That’s a great point, yes, the Psionic monks among the Tandrax could provide adequate shielding, I imaging their entire order within the Star-engine could compare to their power of a single Over-father. Deicide, as soon as he realised they were not a threat and were in fact there to come to his aid would have shielded their minds too. It’s fun to think of this imperceptible battle of wills that goes on that we simply cannot see in the comic itself.

2025-10-13 15:39:08 +0000 UTCDo you think an Over-Father could use their psionic power to generate a sonic shockwave so powerful it kills opponents and destroys objects? I'm imagining two Over-Sisters, the sort of Imperium inquisition psychics I got the idea for, being cornered. They respond by concentrating their power into a small point before shielding themselves and allowing the power within the point to release its energy in the form of a sonic boom that wipes out all of their enemies. I figure an Imperium psychic could also do something like this by firing a hand-beam at a target such as a spaceship and altering the properties of the beam very rapidly to create powerful sounds that kill the crew of the ship, sort of like sticking your finger in a puddle and making ripples. Could one also potentially use this to make waves in a Tandraxian energy field to disrupt its function without the need for a massive amount of energy? Also, when the rebel Star-Engine came to assist Deicide when his Womb-world was being attacked, did the Tandrax and the GU ships with it have some sort of protection from psionic attacks? If Over-Father's can mess with minds from long distance, could Fliegrigel have just fried their brains as soon as they arrived? Though I imagine Deicide and maybe Tandraxian psionic monks may have been shielding them from such attacks.
