This was around the time streaming really started to take off and TV networks were panicking as nothing new was sticking and the numbers just kept dipping and a lot of shows were facing constant cancellation. At this point in Parks and Rec they never knew if they were getting another season so each one is sort of written like it could be the last. Bit of a midseason lull here but there's plenty of good stuff to come.

2025-07-21 04:29:41 +0000 UTCidk but these episodes kind of felt like filler to me. the anne stuff comes on pretty quick and feels out of nowhere wheb the episode just prior she's all like awkward with kids. finally she bonds with the girls and then the next episode it's all "i'm ready to be a mom!!" i get that when you know, you know. but it just feels super rushed. it just feels like there's sort of a lull with the characters right now vs growth and progressing forward. oh well. sometimes some episodes just kind of dip a bit.
