Added 2022-09-26 20:42:30 +0000 UTCI think the clearest example of my improvement of my art skills has to be the FA icons I've done for myself and my boyfriend over the past couple years. I created the my Rawnchyrancher FA account in 2020, although I've been on the site since 2017, and have always made matching icons for us to be super gay. In fact I can usually tell when my art skillz have improved because I start to nitpick the icons we're using. Actually I've been thinking about redoing them again recently, so I guess I've gotten that much better since the vertical icons I did 4 months ago

You know, when I first started doing this art stuff again, I used to feel ashamed at how limited my skill was honestly. I'd given up drawing almost a decade before, and I felt kind of like a failure, like if I'd just kept it up I'd be amazing at art by now. In some ways it felt like I could never be good at art again because I'd waited too long and lost too much talent
Yeah, don't believe yourself when your mind tells you such things. In just two years I grew so much, and I didn't even work at it every day like I have been recently. It's never too late to become the person you want to be
