the creative process
Added 2022-09-12 20:06:38 +0000 UTCI recently did a large illustrative comm for a FA friend, and it made me want to show off my process. After all I'm really proud of how it came out!
I've taken many different art classes and have learned many ways of handling creating art, but honestly the biggest learning experience for me was messing around with Paint Shop Pro making fashion dolls in the early aughts. Learning about layers and shadow/highlights in a trial and error fashion helped me figure out what works best for me and the way my mind works when doing digital art
That is to say that I use a L O T of layers because it helps me keep everything sorted
