I love Clint and Jonah SO much but my fiance and I both agree that while the characters are great they aren't representative of our true selves, more like our idealized selves. I wanted to design OCs that felt more like actual fursonas, especially because I actually don't even have one as I don't consider Jonah to be one and he's kind of all I've got
Sage and Rose are both witches. Sage's house is some classic bog witch looking stuff, very spoopy and strange, and people often mistake him for Rose as a result. Rose's house is an adorable little cottage, and he advertises for his magical skill, but people see a super spooky house nearby and assume that must be the place. This mix up causes them to meet and gay shenanigans ensue!
As you can see on the sketch page, Sage originally had a long tail and his head is redlined. This is because I'd originally designed him to be a canine, but the design wasn't sitting right with me. I even lined his side profile as a dog before deciding to change his species, but he's much much cuter as a deer
Real talk, I really think I want to try to make comics featuring these two, but we'll see how it goes because I've never done that before
