I'm on a rollercoaster. It's not really day by day, more like hour by hour. Some hours I feel good, energized, and motivated. Some I feel scared, hopeless, uncertain. But I'm lucky that one of the things I find cathartic is good light and self expression through portraits, two things I have no shortage of in my bunker.

Live art
@beautiful__noise has kept in touch with me for a while now. He's participated in #refinedweird and continously supported my art (he's even a patron so say hi!). So when he was in my city, we shot. I used to wear black eye makeup and carry a straightener in my bag to make sure I never showed anyone in the world my natural features. Maybe it's age or maybe it's laziness or maybe it's true self love, but now I feel prettiest when my hair is free to do it's thing and the fold of my eyelids when they're naked.
